We were sent a Flutterbye Flying Fairy including lots of fairy dust to review from Spin Master Toys. It is pink which gets a thumbs up straight away. Inside the box is the flying fairy, the base charger and instructions.
I had a look at the instructions and added the batteries, it does require 6 x AA batteries that are not included. Following the instructions I switched the charger unit on plugged the charging cord into the fairy and waited for it to charge. I is easy to tell if the fairy is charging correctly or fully charged as the instructions state what colour light for different things.
Once the fairy was charged we took out the charging cord and switched the fairy on. We put the charging unit onto the floor and then pressed the button.
The Flutterbye Flying Fairy came to life spinning around and taking off into the air. straight up and then floating down but it doesn’t end there. When the fairy descends put your hand under the fairies legs, it doesn’t have to be too close and she will flying upwards again.
Both my daughters have been playing with this, they have been having contests to see who can make the fairy fly the longest without hitting the ceiling or wall and it has entertained them for a long while so far. The great thing about the Flutterbye Flying Fairy is that it’s skirt with swirls around and helps it glide are a soft plastic so if it does hit the ceiling or walls it does not leave marks on them and it also does not damage the toy.
Here is a quick video of my eldest daughter with the Flutterbye Flying Fairy.
