I was asked by Garden Games if I would like to review a Flower and Butterfly Wigwam. Now I know it really hasn’t been the weather for using wigwams outside but I knew it would definitely get a lot of use in the summertime and that we could set it up temporarily in the house until the nice weather comes.
It came in a long box which is good as I can use the box to store the wigwam when not in use.
Inside the box is everything needed to build the flower and butterfly wigwam including instructions.
I found I needed quite a bit of room to put the wigwam together as the poles when put together are long and you need space to slot those poles into the wigwam itself. Setting it up was really easy I followed the step by step instructions and within half an hour we had what resembled a wigwam.
I then, with the help of my husband stood the flower and butterfly wigwam up and moved the poles until the canvas wasn’t sagging and more taunt and tied the top up properly once we had got it right.
We set this up in the living room and then moved it into my daughter’s bedroom for her to have a proper play with it.
Once it was all set up I could have good look at it. I loved the different patterns on each panel of the wigwam I thought it looked really pretty and my daughter loves butterflies and the colour pink so she was really happy. I was surprised at how much room there was in the wigwam we could fit about four small children sitting down in it.
The quality of the flower and butterfly wigwam is very good, the canvas is really thick and it had also got a waterproof coating which is brilliant because we all know what the weather is like, one minute bright sunshine the next the heavens open. It is also very study, the poles are thick and not likely to break very easily.
It measures 1.5 meters tall and 1.4 meters diameter at the widest part.
My daughter loves it and it is currently still up in her bedroom and she is quite often found inside the wigwam either reading or playing on her handheld console.
She is looking forward to summer so she can have her summer picnics in it too.
