We were invited to take part in F&F Children’s Party Wear Challenge which I couldn’t wait to do. I love to see my daughter dressed nice for a party whether it be Christmas or any other time of the year. We were given a £50 voucher for F&F and asked to pick out a party outfit to style our child in.
My daughter likes to choose what to wear most of the time so I let her choose with me until we both agreed on a complete outfit.
The most important piece of the outfit we chose was the dress, this was F&F Signature Swan Print Prom Dress. It was slightly different than what was shown on the website but it is gorgeous.
Its main feature is watercolour swan print which goes around the whole of the dress. It is sleeveless and has white piping around the neck line, sleeve line and around the waist of the dress. The dress is fully lined with a petticoat with mesh trim at the bottom and the skirt part of the dress is gathered to add a fuller effect to the skirt. It has four buttons running down the top half of the back of the dress.
Materials – Shell: 100% Cotton. Lining: 100% Polyester. Net: 100% Nylon. It is machine washable.
I think this is absolutely beautiful and my daughter looks gorgeous it in. It fits well and my daughter says it is comfortable. It washes well with no colour run and now shrinking. I hung it up to dry and it irons well when inside out and on a low heat setting.
To add to the dress my daughter needed something to cover her arms as it is winter. She chose a F&F Metallic Knitted Cropped Shrug. She chose this because of its glittery effect. It is knitted with a metallic finish with long sleeves and button fastening.
Material- 47% Acrylic, 47% Cotton, 6% Metallised Fibre.
Now it looks like it may irritate especially round the neck and arms, this was not the case, it is actually quite soft. It washes well with no colour run or shrinking.
For legs as it is winter we decided on F&F Fleece Lined Tights black tights, this way my daughters legs will be warmer. These are fluffy fleece lined with an elasticated waistband. My daughter told me that they are really nice and warm and the waistband is soft so it doesn’t dig in.
To add the finishing touches to the outfit we had to choose some shoes we picked F&F Grosgrain Bow Pumps as they were pretty and girly and the perfect party shoes. They look like little ballet pumps in black, they have a black grosgrain bow at the front and an elastic strap around the centre of the foot. They have a pretty star design in the inside.
Materials : Upper: Other Materials. Lining and sock: Textile. Outer sole: Other Materials
And here is my daughter modelling her party outfit. She now cannot wait until Christmas so she can wear it. I think she looks adorable.
This whole outfit cost only £41.50
As we had to spend the whole £50 we decided to purchase something else.
When the party is over my daughter will be tired no doubt so what better way to relax in this Hello Kitty Fleece Onesie it is perfect for getting snuggled and warm in and to relax when they have had a busy day. The hood had ears and a bow to the left hand side.
There are pockets on the left and right side and a zip running through the centre. It is footless and the cuffs are thick with lots of stretch but not hard to stretch so it doesn’t cut off the circulation.
Perfect for cold evenings to keep warm.
