While I was at BritMums Live this year I was given a paper bag with lots of goodies from Santa Maria to join the with the Fab Fajita Challenge.
Inside the bag was;
Plain Flour Soft Tortillas
Fajita Seasoning Mix (Medium Strength)
Salsa Sauce (Medium Strength)
My family really like Fajitas and so the following week we decided to make some up for dinner.
We used all of the ingredients above and also;
Green and Yellow Pepper
Fat Free Natural Yoghurt
(We have since tried it adding spring onions and a layer of lettuce too)
My husband always cooks this for us and it is so simple to make.
Just fry the chicken, peppers, onion, mix in the seasoning mix and place onto the tortillas.
Add a lashing of natural fat free yoghurt on top and wrap up.
Best served hot.
As this was medium strength the yoghurt provides a nice cooling sensation in the mouth and it also gives it a love taste. I was surprised at this as when my husband mentioned yoghurt I did screw my face up and go eww. But it is really nice.
I may try it again and add sour cream and garlic Philadelphia or dip with it next time.
Disclaimer: We were giving the Santa Maria ingredients for the challenge. The rest of the ingredients were my own. This post is my entry to the Fab Fajita Challenge.
