It will soon be the Easter holidays and my children will be having two weeks off of school so what will we be doing during the Easter break.
In all honesty I am not 100% sure what we are doing yet. I know I leave things until the last minute but trying to get all of the family to agree on something is a complete nightmare.
We may go away as a family, which would be good for the children as they deserve a break. We were also thinking of just myself and my husband going away for a few days as my birthday also falls during the Easter holidays.
While online looking for places to go we stumbled across a website called Cumbrian-Cottages. I have never stayed in a cottage before and looking at all the different cottages after a while I got very envious. I love old cottages and the characters they have just by looking at them they look warm and cosy and most have open fires or woodburners which adds to the cosiness. I could really imagine us staying in one of these cottages. Heck I don’t think I would want to come home!
Another thing I liked was that some of the cottages available are pet friendly which is a must for us having a dog who hate being away from us. So it is good to have the option of bringing it with us and I am sure it would love the extra walks in the countryside, along the river around the mountains and I know the children would also like it.
What are your plans for this Easter? Are you going away? Do let us know!

I cannot believe Easter break is almost here. I have no idea what we’ll be doing…most likely staying home because my husband is working again!
That is cool that you have Easter break. We have spring break which generally does not coincide with Easter. And in public schools here, we can’t really mention Easter or the Christian faith. We can mention everything else except that. Okay, enough soap boxing. Enjoy your break!
