We were sent another Degustabox last month and I had to open it straight away as always, I mean honestly who can resist a box that has arrived and you don’t know what you will get in it?
If you have not heard of Degustabox before, it is a monthly subscription box full of food and drinks to try and most of the products are full size products.
Seabrook Crisps – Seabrook is the original crinkle cut crisp. The variety pack brings together the three most popular Seabrook flavours – Sea Salted, Sea Salt & Vinegar and Cheese & Onion. Everyone has their favourite Seabrook flavour…What’s yours?
My favourite flavours of Seabrook Crisps are Cheese & Onion and Spring Onion flavours, they are a really nice crispy crisp with lots of flavour. I shared these with the family and they all really like Seabrook Crisps. My daughter also likes Cheese & Onion and my husband likes Sea Salted flavour.
We liked the crinkle cut of the crisps too.
Bahlsen PiCK UP! Black ‘N White – PiCK UP! Black ‘N White is a delicious white chocolate bar sandwiched between two crisp chocolate flavour biscuits. They are individually wrapped, locking in the freshness and perfect for on the go occasions and lunch boxes.
We have tried these before and although I am not actually that much of a lover of white chocolate I can honestly say the Black ‘N Whites are really nice, with the chocolate flavoured biscuits it’s a great mix of the two chocolate flavours. With them being individually wrapped too they are perfect to add to lunch boxes or popping in your bag for a cheeky little snack on the go.
Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise – Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise is made using 100% free range eggs and sustainably sourced oils to deliver a deliciously creamy taste. An ideal dressing to transform your everyday dinners and summer BBQ’s, Hellman’s mayonnaise is also the perfect partner to spruce up your sandwiches and salads at lunchtime!
I use Hellman’s Mayonnaise all the time, I used it when I make egg mayonnaise and also put it in my chicken salad wraps. I don’t think I would ever use a cheap alternative. It is rich and creamy and tastes delicious.
JellySqueeze – JellySqueeze is a fun, squeezy, jelly in a pouch, refreshing and re-sealable making it ideal to eat on the go or pop in a packed lunch. Gluten and lactose free, suitable for vegans and vegetarians and schools compliant, JellySqueeze is great for kids of all ages to enjoy.
Jelly in a drinks pouch sounded a bit weird but I must say it is fantastic for young ones as it is less messier than trying to give a toddler jelly on a spoon as you can squeeze it straight in their mouth. My son loves jelly and these were a huge hit for him and no mess. I love them!
Light Bites Popped Chips – Perfect for virtuous snacking! Light Bites popped chips are under 100 calories, gluten free, packed with fibre and protein, veggie friendly, free from artificial colours, preservatives, flavours and low saturated fat. Popped Chips are spud free, msg and gym free too!
We received Pesto and Sundried Tomato and Sweet and Smoky Chipotle flavours, these are Soya and Chickpea popped chips. After trying both I wasn’t a fan of the Pesto and Sundried Tomato flavoured one, but the Sweet and Smoky Chipotle were nice, both my daughter and I liked this flavour.
Twisted Halo – Coconut Water, Ginger & Vodka – Twisted Halo contains only natural flavours and no added sugar or sweeteners. A subtly sweet coconut water taste is followed by a warming ginger aroma with just a hint of lime. At 90 calories per 275ml bottle it is a light, ready-to-serve drink that is full of flavour and deliciously refreshing. Enjoy chilled straight from the bottle or over ice with a slice of lime. Available now Morrisons and Wholefoods.
I haven’t tried this as my son still wakes at night and avoid alcohol as I need to have my wits about me at all times.
Tabasco Green Pepper Sauce – TABASCO Green Sauce delivers great tangy flavour. It is made from mild green jalapeño peppers mixed with vinegar and salt. It’s a staple flavour for Mexican food and also can be used in anything from seafood to dressings and fruit. A few dashes gives a kick to margaritas and pina coladas.
We have not tried this yet as we do not have Mexican food very often. My husband is looking forward to trying it though.
Refreshers Softies – Refreshers Softies add a new dimension to your retro confectionery favourites – soft, fruity and chewy, with the same great fizz, they’re a delicious twist on the much loved Refreshers sweets.
I thought I would really like these as Refreshers are my favourite retro sweet. However these are quite odd tasting, a bit chalky, but they still have the fizz. The kids liked them though and as they are meant for kids that is the main thing.
Cadbury Dairy Milk Big Taste Toffee Whole Nut – Taste the Big Sensation wherever you are with Cadbury Dairy Milk Big Taste Toffee Whole Nut now available in a convenient on-the-go format.
My husband had this as he loves Cadbury Whole Nut and had been on about trying the Big Taste Toffee Whole Nut for a while. It is exactly what it says on the packet, little squares of chocolate with toffee and a whole nut in the centre of the toffee. He really enjoyed it.
Maggi Fusian Noodles – Sticky Hoisin Duck Noodles: Rich sweet soy, oriental spice and hints of roasted duck with infused oil and veggies, creates a noodles adventure in only four minutes.
Fiery Sweet Chilli Noodles: Spicy chilli and ginger with onion oil and veggies, create a fiery noodles adventure in only four minutes.
My husband and daughter tried these noodles. These are really quick and easy to make. Both flavours were really nice and they have said if we can find them at the supermarket can they have some more.
Orangina Limited Edition Summer Bottles – Orangina with its unmistakable orange flavour, soft sparkle citrus pulp, makes the perfect summer drink. It is both delicious on its own with ice and a slice of orange, or as a mixer in mocktails and cocktails.
I remember having Orangina as a treat when I was a child so was really looking forward to trying this and reminiscing. It still tastes the same as I remember although the bottles are not glass anymore. I we had an original and a light version, I preferred the original flavour but I am not fond of light drinks anyway.
Cadbury Curlywurly Squirlies – Bitesize chewy caramel pieces covered in Cadbury milk chocolate! A family favourite, now available in a shareable bag!
I love Curlywurlys so seeing these in my box gave me a big smile and my husband was smiling too, of course there was no way I was sharing even if it was in a ‘shareable’ bag! These little Squirlies are little Curlywurlys in the shape of little worms, and still as delicious as always. A huge thumbs up for these.
You can get a huge £7 off your first box which will cost you just £5.99 including delivery by using this code INCVF when registering on the Degustabox website.
