Pokémon The Movie: Black & Pokémon The Movie: White Double Pack DVD

We were asked if we would like to review the new Double Pack DVD of Pokémon the Movie: Black – Victini and Reshiram and Pokémon the Movie: White – Victini and Zekrom.

My youngest daughter who is five has never seem Pokémon before but I remember them back when my oldest daughter was small.

We decided to watch these in order the first being Pokémon the Movie: Black and the Pokémon the Movie: White.

Ash is still as young as he has always been and he is still on his travels to collect Pokémon and they are still as cute as ever.

Pokémon The Movie: Black starts off in a country covered in snow, Disaster is about to strike when the legendary Zekrom saves the people.

In Pokémon The Movie: White it starts off similar but instead of a country covered in snow it is in a desert type place and Reshiram saves the people.

These are the prologues to the main films and each of the legendary Pokémon’s give a little prophecy that will come clear later on in the films.

Both movies have a lot of the same scenes and dialogue in them but with little differences so the stories are not exactly the same.
Ash and his friends enter a battle competition in Eindoak Town, where the Pokémon compete, They then meet the Mythical Pokémon Victini, who becomes their newest friend. But disaster strikes when the misguide wanderer Damon seizes Victini from his own plans! Can Ash prove himseld a hero and earn the help of the Legendary Reshiram – or Zekrom – to rescue Victini and save Eindoak Town?
My daughter absolutely loves both of the movies however likes to watch Pokémon the Movie: White – Victini and Zekrom more than the other.

She loves all the little Pokémon and although I am not sure she really ‘gets’ what Pokémon is all about as she is only 5 she really does enjoy watching them.

The Special Double Pack DVD of Pokémon the Movie Black and Pokémon the Movie: White was released on the 9th April.

This is perfect for all Pokémon fans whether you be an old fan like myself or a new fan like my daughter.

I would definately recommend these DVD’s

Peppa Pig International Day and Other Stories DVD

images My daughter is an avid Peppa Pig fan, having almost all the DVDs that are out and loads of Peppa Pig figures and soft toys. So when I was asked if I would like to review the new Peppa Pig DVD International Day and Other Stories, I jumped at the chance as I knew my daughter would be on cloud 9.

The DVD was delivered while she was at school but as soon as she came home I put it on, Not telling her what it was, The look on her face when she saw it was a NEW Peppa Pig DVD was so lovely.

She sat and watched whole DVD and then when it had finished she asked for it to be played again.

She is allowed to have a DVD played in her bedroom at bedtime or her to fall asleep with and she has asked for that DVD every night. She now knows each episode almost word for word and loves singing along.

There are 11 episodes on the DVD which are , International Day – Grampy Rabbit’s Boatyard – Shake Rattle and Bang – Pottery – Mr Fox’s Van – Biggest Puddle In The World – Chatterbox – Chloe’s Big Friends – Edmond Elephant’s Birthday and Gym Class and a bonus episode – Paper Aeroplane.

If I haven’t been given this to review I would have definately bought it anyway due to the fact all the DVDs we currently have, have been watched to death and I was actually going to have a look for some new DVDs for her, for Christmas.

This is a fabulous DVD for girls and boys who love Peppa Pig and I would highly recommend it.
My daughter certainly gives it the thumbs up.
