We were challenged to take part in Actimel For Kids Yoga Challenge which meant every morning for a week we were to do two yoga poses from 10 different options provided to help get my daughter focused and prepared for the school day ahead.
My daughter loves yoga so was definitely up for the challenge and as yoga is calming and beneficial we knew that that may be the boost she needs to concentrate more at school, especially as she was still wanting to sleep in due to the summer holidays not being so long ago.
The booklet we received stated that for the best results, children should concentrate on their breathing, balance and position of their body while carrying out the yoga positions.
As an extra incentive we were given a voucher to purchase a pack of 6 Actimel Kids drinks plus a backpack full of stationary that my daughter could use at school.
Every morning during the week of the yoga challenge my daughter got dressed, had her breakfast and then chose which 2 yoga positions she would do that morning.
She went through all of the poses in the booklet by the end of the week and she really enjoyed it. She liked doing all of the positions. I did try to get photos every day but a couple of the days I wasn’t feeling too good so she did them in front of me but without the photos.
She really enjoyed the Actimel for Kids drink afterwards, it was like her little reward and once she had finished it, off she went to brush her teeth and hair and get her school bag ready for the day.
After the week was done she still wanted to continue with the 2 yoga positions every morning, and I have been buying Actimel For Kids drinks for her. This has been ongoing since the challenge and she is still going on with it, which is great.
We have really enjoyed the Actimel For Kids Yoga Challenge. I have noticed that she isn’t so sluggish in the mornings so it must be helping.
