Celia Summers, intrepid mother of two, is too cuddly for sweatpants, she suspects. But then, her class at The Harbour Rest Home are similarly clad. Celia loves her work as an art therapist. She’s proud that she gives her elderly independents something to look forward to, even if her partner, Martin, disapproves of her efforts. He also has other things on his mind – telling complicated lies to Celia so he can sell Charlton Hall, his mum’s house, to pay off his debts. Meanwhile, Celia fights to secure gallery space for her geriatric charges’ artwork, and to keep The Harbour from being closed. She’s even ready to abseil from a church steeple to bring attention to the plight of her old people, no matter that she might fall and end up splattered all over the flagstones. When she does fall, however, it’s much more painful – in love with PC Alex Burrows coming to her rescue Safkhet Soul, our romantic comedy imprint, was launched options if you use a different distributor! on Valentine’s Day 2012. Bringing fresh, funny and fabulous stories, Safkhet Soul will paint a smile (in lip gloss) on the face of every rom com reader. A Little Bit of Madness is the third in a series of stories starring those beautiful boys in blue.

A Little Bit Of Madness was a fantastic book to read, I do not usually read romcom’s but this one grabbed me.
I really like Celia’s character, she was a caring woman, being an art therapist and a would be keep fit instructor she looks after the creative needs of the elderly people in the residential home called The Harbour as well as being a young mum to two children.
I liked all of the characters in this book. Well apart from Celia’s boyfriend Martin, who quite honestly was a waste of space.
When the home is threatened with being closed Celia will go to any length to stop that happening as will Alex a hunky PC who is a son of one of the residents.

Absolutely brilliant book. I had not heard of the author Sheryl Browne before now but I will definitely be reading more from her.

5 stars must read
