Synopsis:
When sixteen year old Hannah Brewster lands the lead in the school musical she hopes it will be the perfect chance to get the attention of her family and her long time crush, Kyle. The only problem is that school super star, Josh Larson, has been cast opposite her, and he seems to like her as more than just a cast mate.
As Hannah and Josh grow closer, things between Hannah and Kyle get complicated. When Hannah realizes that Kyle is not who she thought he was, she also realizes that she just might like Josh as more than just a friend.
Will Hannah and Josh be able to overcome their obstacles and admit their feelings before the musical ends?
Review:
I absolutely loved In The Spotlight.
I remember the time when I was just like Hannah so I could relate to her a lot, With boys, crushes and broken hearts.
Hannah seems a bit naïve but that made me like her even more.
I loved her sense of humour and was laughing out loud while reading the book on several occasions with things she said or did, which I have never done before when reading a book.
There was also sadness when she learnt Kyle was not who she thought he was.
The book kept me on the edge of my seat right up until the end with the will they won’t they storyline and the laughs throughout the book made it a great read.
My 14 year old daughter is now reading this herself as I said she would really like it.
I would give In The Spotlight 5 out of 5 stars

Start Thinking About Life Insurance as Early as Possible
Guest Post
You may have heard people tell you that you should use price comparison sites to compare life cover policies while you’re younger in years. Yet in your younger adult years, often your budget is tight and the prospect of death seems rather remote. If you are like most young adults, you are healthy, active, and have many long years ahead of you. Yet there are many reasons why you should consider buying a life insurance policy today.
Insurance Coverage for the Inevitable
The unfortunate truth is that even young adults pass away. Some do learn that they have terminal illnesses early in life, and others simply pass away due to unfortunate and completely unpredictable accidents. While the possibility of dying in your younger years is more remote than passing away later in life, the fact is that this is a fate everyone will meet at some point, and the date of this event cannot be predicted. Life insurance coverage protects your loved ones from financial loss when the inevitable does happen.
Coverage Is Affordable Now
Life insurance companies calculate insurance rates based on a number of factors that include your estimated life span and your health. In your younger years, time is on your side when you compare life cover policies and rates. Your estimated life span is much longer and your health is generally far better than it will be when you are in your forties or fifties. The rates of coverage reflect this, and you only have to take a few minutes to use a price comparison website today to explore just how affordable this coverage may be. Further, you should be aware that insurance rates are generally locked in for the life of the policy. If you buy a 30 year term policy today at the age of 25, you will be paying the same rate for your coverage at age 50 as you paid at age 25. Further, whole life coverage never expires, and so you can lock in a rate for your entire life with this type of policy.
Planning for the Future
You may have children and a spouse today, or the prospect of being married with kids may seem pretty remote to you right now. Many people do obtain life insurance coverage as a means for providing financially for their family in the event they pass away. Yet there are other reasons to buy affordable coverage today. Some policies, such as whole life insurance, will accumulate in value over time. The value grows with your monthly premium payments as well as with interest, and over time you can develop a nice nest egg of value. The value can be accessed through a cash-out of the policy later in life or with a loan. Many people have used this cash for retirement purposes, to make financial investments, to pay off credit card debt, and more. In order to have cash value accumulated, though, you have to make regular premium payments after a long period of time. This means you have to start accumulating value with your policy today.
As you can see, there are so many different reasons why you should consider locking in low insurance rates today while you are young and healthy. Consider using a price comparison site to shop for rates, and then take the next step towards setting your policy up.
VetVits Joint Treat Bones

About VetVits Joint Treat Bones:
A unique treat to help maintain everyday mobility.
All 320 of your dog’s joints are in constant use working to cushion their bones and allow movement. As your pet ages and due to the rapid develipment from puppy to adult, your dog will inevitably experience wear and tear on their joints.
Joint Treat Bones are delicious treats packed full of high strength green-lipped mussel, salmon oil, which is rich in omega 3 and herbs including rose hip. This delicious recipe makes this treat a tasty way to administer these valuable ingredients to your dog and ensure they have all the nutrients they require to support the continual maintenance and repair of joints. Joint Treat Bones for your dog are not only nutritious but delicious too!

I love my dogs dearly, I have 2 shih tzus, they are like my children and they love their treats but I do worry about their health with some of the treats available.
Giving them vitamins is a task as they spit the tablet out so I have had to resort in wrapping their tablets in wafer thin ham.
So when I saw The Joint Treat Bones I just had to try them an effortless way I thought to give my dogs some goodness.
I was give a resealable bag of VetVits Joint Treat Bones which has approximately 90 treats in which help to maintain everyday mobility. So my dogs get treats and I get the added extra of knowing that these Joint Treat Bones are good for them and they are helping them maintain healthy bones.
As Gizmo is nearly 5 and has a lot of health issues he is the main one that worries me about joint problems as it would be another thing to add to the list of things wrong with him.

On the packet it says 1-2 treats per day for small dogs so they have been having 1 a day for the past 2 or so week and still have over half a bag left.
Gizmo is the more hesitate one out of the two and he sniffed the treat turned his nose up for a moment and then took it and started eating it slowly. Even Peppa the 2 year old actually ate it more slowly than what is normal for her although there was no hesitation from her.

The treats include
Green-Lipped Mussel – Claimed to have many benefits as a rich source of glycoproteins, chondroitin, amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
Calcium – To help maintain healthy bones.
Salmon Oil – The all important omega 3 fatty acids found within salmon oil are traditionally used to help maintain healthy joints.
Antioxidents-rich herb mix – including rose hip, blackcurrant, spinach, oregano and rosemary.
The treats are going down well with the dogs and I am sure they will help, their coats are looking healthier and shinier since taking these so thats something at least.
I will be buying more of these as I think the dogs will benefit from these as they get older and as the treats last around 45 days if given one a day for 2 small dogs, £10.95 is not much for peace of mind.

Boo Boo Mummy Soft & Creamy body smoother Review

I was sent a tub of Boo Boo Mummy Soft & Creamy body smoother.
This can be bought in separately or as part of a gift set which would make a fantastic Mother’s Day present from http://www.boobooshop.com/mummy-skincare.html.

Here is what I made of the Boo Boo Mummy Soft & Creamy body smoother.
When I first opened the tub and dipped my finger into the smoother I noticed that it was quite thick however it glided onto my finger very smoothly.
I have been using it for around three weeks now although I never had many stretchmarks and with time they have faded, I still used it on my tummy as well as thighs, dry elbows, even my feet!
I can honestly say my skin does feel a lot smoother since using the product. I have also noticed that my faded stretchmarks are faded even more!
It has been great on my dry elbows and heels making them feel so much softer and smoother and not dry anymore. It’s also been fantastic on my celullite it has visibly reduced them so I am very happy with the body smoother and when I finally run out I will definitely be buying more.

The body smoother comes in a tub which is 190ml which is a fair sized tub.
On the label its says:
Boo Boo says No to animal testing.
Hooray! No parabens, sulphates, TEA petrochemicals, synthetic colours PEGS or DEA.
It is safe to use while pregnant & nursing
Use our luxury smoother all over to help fight off stretch marks and celluite!
A super- nourishing blend of hibiscus, centella and shea butter work together to increase elasticity and give dry skin the heave-ho, Easily absorbed and non-greasy it’s perfect for helping with itchy tummies too! Use daily.
I would recommend Boo Boo Mummy soft & creamy body smoother to all my mums to be and mummy friends as it’s great for so many things and I think they could do with a bit pampering time every so often.
Boo Boo Mummy Soft & Creamy body smoother has recently won the Bronze award from Mother & Baby Magazine.

Easter’s Lilly by Judy Serrano

Title: Easter’s Lilly
Author: Judy Serrano
Genre: Suspense Thriller with a twist
Format: ebook
Publisher: Black Rose Writing (Dec 2010)
Star Rating: 5 Stars Must Read!
Synopsis:
It was Easter Sunday; the day Lilly’s life went from safe and comfortable to dangerously unfamiliar. Her transformation takes her from a small town girl having an affair with a low ranked gangster in the Montiago crime syndicate, to a woman of grace and fortitude married to the head of the organization.
Lilly tells the story of her life — and the lives of her children — with childlike innocence, yet she’s desperate for security and companionship. The hint of forbidden love and betrayal that ultimately puts brother against brother adds to the suspense and intrigue. The syndicate engulfs the Montiago family as they turn each other inside out over the love of a woman. Easter’s Lilly is an inspired journey from the idyllic to the darker side of self-discovery. Read as the over-privileged brothers embark on their journey that twists and turns down the road of unbridled passion in the first book of the series.
Review:
I loved this book from the very start. Lilly was naive to say the least!
I was 100% gripped.
To read the twists and turns and why Easter Sunday was such a predominant date in her life. The love triangle between two brothers, Living with them both in one house and giving into temptation.
Not only was the book about the love life of Lilly, her naivity and the way it effects her mentally but it was about her life being married to the head of a drug organisation and the danger in which that kind of life is led for Lilly and her children and also of the betrayal from certain people she trusted.
The end of the book was left with a massive cliff hanger and being as involved in the book as I was I NEEDED to read the second book, Brother Number 3 straight away.
I really enjoyed reading Easter’s Lilly and would recommend this to anyone that asked me what great books have you read lately.
Judy Serrano is a great author never leaving a dull moment in the book.
I think this would make a great movie too!
I would give Easter’s Lilly 5 star out of 5 its a MUST read!
You can buy Easter’s Lilly in both Kindle version and Paperback.

Rapidough Competition
Have you heard or seen the family game Rapidough by Drumond Park? No? Keep reading this post to see what its all about and what you are missing and enter the competition for your chance to win it…

GUESS TOO SLOW – AND YOU LOSE SOME DOUGH!
Uproarious fun with new FAMILY Rapidough
Rapidough, the UK’s original and most popular team game of modelling charades, has been completely updated – and now the whole family can join in the fun! It’s back in the shops now (age 8 to adult, rrp £29.99), and there are hundreds of simple, interesting new everyday objects to sculpt. There’s never a dull moment, as everyone plays at once, in every round!

Played in two or three teams, this is an uproariously funny game where everyone gets stuck in and lets their creative skills run riot – great for several generations to play together!
Rapidough is a brilliant way to get family and friends playing – and laughing! – together. Raucous and rapid, the Modeller in each team
takes a card and then attempts to sculpt and model the word into a shape, as their team mates begin their frenzied attempts to guess
what’s emerging from the coloured modelling dough. In each round, the first team to identify what’s been modelled correctly is, of course, the winner.

There’s a sting in the tail of course… at the end of each round, the losing team (or teams) has one ‘plug’ of dough taken away from them. And if your team loses too often, you can just imagine the hilarity of trying to sculpt something like a flower, a spider, train or violin – with a pea-sized piece of dough!
Gameplay
Before you begin to play Rapidough, you can choose from two levels of play, as the 250 Blue Cards are easier to model than the more challenging 250 White Cards. Each team selects a team colour – red, yellow or blue – then takes the corresponding Dough, Dough Mat, Modelling Tool and Dough Plugger. Gestures and actions not involving modelling are never allowed – and certain rules must
be agreed between the players before the game commences.
One Modeller takes the top card on the pile and follows the instructions to decide which word they must model, and then the same card is passed carefully to the Modeller in each of the other teams. Each Modeller rolls their Dough into a ball and places it in the ‘ready’ position on their Dough Mat. Someone shouts “go!” – and the frenzied fun begins!
The guesses will start almost immediately and the Modellers are only allowed to say “yes” or “no”, and must ignore any guesses from members of the opposing teams. There’s no time limit, and the winning guess ends the round. The winning team then takes a plug of Dough from the losers using the Dough Plugger – so that the opposing team/s now have less Dough to model with, and
the fun begins all over again!
When two teams are playing, the game ends when one team runs out of dough and the other team wins – and when three teams are playing, the winner is the team with the most dough left when one team runs out and can no longer play. Each player has a chance to be the Modeller, and everyone gets to play in every fast and frantic round… so there’s no sitting around doing nothing while you
wait for your turn.

In the experienced hands of Drumond Park, the UK’s leading independent games company,Rapidough makes a welcome return as the original fast, frantic game of hands-on family fun, and is sure to have everyone shouting out for more!
Drumond Park’s Adult, Family and Children’s games, magic sets, puzzles and action games are widely available from most major toy shop chains and independents, plus many department stores, catalogue and online traders
